Most of us are used to chemical shampoos that bubble up in the shower. Bare Roots does not add any sudsing agents to our soaps so they therefore will not lather up as much as a commercial shampoo. Commercial shampoos contain both sudsing agents and substances to break down the suds. Just remember that bubbles don't clean and using organic products may take some getting used to. However, we know that the benefits will well outweigh the change.
We are concerned about product ingredients because they not only effect our health, but the health of our earth.
There are currently more than 5000 chemical ingredients that are permitted to be added to personal care products. Many are identified by government agencies as hazardous, but still others remain untested.
